I care for children in a residential care home. Ensuring they are correctly safeguarded and looked after.
I have continued to develop skills I have from working as a support worker. I have also learnt about the workings of a residential care home. And received a variety of relevant training.
I enjoy that every day can be so different and the variety of people I meet.
Well structured. I work with a very competent team.
I receive monthly supervisions, but in between I have regular chats with my manager.
A lot. She always replies to my emails. And is happy to help with any questions I have.
I’ve not noticed a significant difference, however it is still early in the training.
Not not that I am aware of as of yet.
Yes
Excellent job overall. Good pay compared to previous jobs and brilliant staff.
Be confident and show your personality. If you don’t know something, he honest.
