  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have enjoyed my programmed quite a lot so far as its giving me the chance to experience a lot of the manufacturing process, the theory has also provided me with a good insight to the manufacturing environment and giving me practical experience in the workplace, something I was very keen to get as opposed to going to university. I will say that the starting on level 2 for the first 2 years has meant I feel relatively unchallenged by the work and believe i could complete the workload in less than the 2 years and be on to level 3 and 4 sooner.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are several extra-curricular activity opportunities that I am able to take advantage of in my role as an apprentice at Rolls Royce. This includes things like the green goblin event in which we assist schools in building cars to race against other schools across the country. This has allowed me to build a skillset I would not thought I would develop when I applied for the apprenticeship as I am working with school children to complete a project they are passionate about.
