  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Work within a department that ensures the quality control of the interior trim center (anything covered in fabric) This involves reviewing common issues and working as a team to develop a solution. • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Overall, I feel that my apprenticeship at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars was well-organized. The company has a clear structure in place for apprenticeships and provided me with the necessary support and guidance throughout my time at the Interior Trim Centre. I was given a detailed induction and clear objectives, which helped me to focus on my development and achieve my goals now. However, at the beginning of the apprenticeship it was mismatched and slightly disorganised. But this is only because it was the first year they have had such a large cohort and the first year they have had a three month induction course at college so I am sure it will only get better.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I attend the university of Chichester two days a week alongside my job at Rolls-Royce motor cars. I feel there is room for improvement. The lecturers are not up to scratch and the organisation leaves alot to be desired. But it is a paid degree and I can not complain.
