  • I am a Talent Brand Apprentice. I work in the Employer Branding team and a lot of my work involves social media; content creation and recruitment marketing.

  • I have massively. I have developed my communication, analysis, critical thinking and creative skills the most and it has been great!

  • Very much. It is very practically aligned to my work.

  • Very well structured.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My manager is very invested in my development and I have been given the permission to dedicate the time I need to work on my qualification.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • A lot of support. I have a very understanding and very helpful skills coach and QA is incredible in general. Our lecturer is a legend and teaches with a lot of care and patience.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My qualification helps me become more strategic and more intentional about how I work and what the goals should be. It is really helping me craft my skill

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes, there are. I have actually just recently been appointed as a lead for our Pride Network in Newcastle alongside a colleague of mine. I am very excited about that and we have numerous opportunities through Sage Foundaton, to get involved with giving back to society.

  • Yes

  • People care. It is that simple! The organisation is built on a culture of support and empowerment!


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Sage?
  • Do not get intimidated by the size of the company for you may think that you may only be a statistic here. There is nothing further from the truth than that. At Sage, you have opportunities to thrive and be surrounded by people who help propel you forward!
