In work experience they have provided many activities which allow me to gain understanding and experience of a real life job. Many skills were gained such as communication skills and time management. Other companies such as DELL and tesco was involved to show they work and how the companies work together
I have developed communication skills. I was able to talk to ther people in a professional manner. On the other hand I also gained confidence in speaking aswell which allowed me to talk to other people. Time management was also something is developed. Being able to complete tasks on time.
I enjoyed the experience overall. There were many people who took their time to organise this work experience which I am very grateful for. They took their time to bring in other companies and made tasks and activities fun for the guests. We were all able to learn new skills and have fun at the same time.
Very organised. People were set to come in ready for the morning at least 10 minutes before the day started. It allowed everyone to be prepared and ready. All the activities were provided efficiently and was organised. Even when there was a travel problem for companies , backup task will always be provided just in case. Very prepared.
Each day we had different tasks and activities to complete. This included group work with other people where we had to work as a team. Towards the end we individually completed a presentation where we talked about what our experience was like and what we learnt through out the experience.
In this work experience I was able to learn different skills and also come out of my comfort zone. For example speaking in front of people. It allowed to me gain a understanding in what sort of role I would be comfortable in and the type of environment I work in.
For my work experience I was not paid for this experience. Although I was provided with small gifts and food provided by the company. The cost expenses were provided towards prizes and food which allowed us to have a professional and exciting environment. The experience overall was fair with the costs made.
Everyday there was a new opportunity to meet other companies and talk to different people who have different professions. They made a presentation and talk on their role which allowed everyone to gain a understanding of the role and also ask any questions if we needed to. All the different people explained their title .
Yes
In this experience I have gained a lot of experience and would recommend to a friend as it is very professional and the business is also very professional . The company works around all over the world where many other people can have a opportunity. I recommend this to many people who are interested in working within a company.
My tip for someone applying is you do not need to know all the skills. Throughout my journey and experience with Computacenter I came with not much experience with IT. As you work and go along you learn the different skills with the help of the company to make sure you a fit for the job.
