It is my role to support my hotel manager with the daily running of my hotel at Gillingham. I run a team of 22 team members and together we aim to give our guests a great experiance at our hotel with great check in's and clean and comfertable rooms at a great price.
My apprenticeship has helped me with my leadership styles and I am working on improving my reception and computer skills.
I love working through the exersizes on the course, but i just wish that i had more time. Always feels rushed when always at work.
The programme is very well organised, it flows well from one topic to the next.
There is not really any, you are just expected to get on with it and still work. We are all so busy. Personally I would just rather have a day at home each week to do my apprenticeship as then it is undisturbed.
The trainers try so hard to encourage you to get on with the work, they help you and always show a light at the end of the tunnel when you feel so far behind.
When I have completed my apprenticeship, I know it will help me feel more confident. I just wish that I had more quality time rather than being behind due to workload. They do tell us at the start not to fall behind so totally my fault for that.
No basically.
Yes
Whitbread is a good solid place to work, all that they ask is that you are committed to believing in everyday people, work to be the best that you can and respect all around you. They offer carreer prospects to all, you just need to love people and believe in brand which whitbread has created.
Don't be a time waster to this amaizing company, if you are not willing to be committed, turn up for your shifts and give our guests the best service that we can, then it is not the job for you.
