Designing customer solutions, trouble shooting issues with the design, answering customer queries in the pre-sale arena.
I've developed lots of skills and grown massively professionally and personally. Interpersonal skills, technical knowledge and other professional skills.
Rocky start with gaining experience, however, it is much improved since I started and I am thoroughly enjoying the work I do day-to-day, as well as additional projects.
When I started in 2020, I was one of only two technical apprentices in our wider business unit. This was widely met with unpreparedness in teams, however, since then, it has improved massively. With pathways guiding you through your time in each team, it provides good structure to the apprenticeship.
My manager is very supportive about my needs, with lots of additional time given to study for the university course. Further to this, additional learning is encouraged into topics we are interested.
My training provider provides lots of support but as their site is a few hours of travel away from my work office, sometimes I feel I don't have the same access to the university resources as other students.
The qualification I am working toward has provided me with all of the base knowledge I have needed for my role, with my work in the office building on this.
Lots of activities, sports, social events, people networks providing groups for people to interact with like-minded colleagues, and many networking events throughout the year.
Yes
Lots of support with your work and other, freedom within your work to pursue your passions within the workplace. Great company benefits, friendly colleagues, great pay for apprentices.
Network with who you can, build connections and learn a bit about what they do, it might end up being something you want to do!
