  • Store manager, accountable for thr running of that unit as part of the company. From the hiring of the colleagues to the training, coaching and recognition to picking up the conversation when things don't go right and lead pieces of change when business demands it.

  • Gaining the knowledge of the why the business does things it does, and having the understanding to explain it to the colleagues with confident. To a appoint I am wanting to looking further into retail education

  • The structure is very well presented and laid out, with the lecturers talking to the moodle page and answer any question with no issues.

  • Mmu has been fantastic with support and guidance, my skill coach is always there to nudge me

  • It has given me more confidence in my abilities, and help develop my behaviour within my role and enabled me to progress to my current role.

  • No not at work but I attend professional event at university, I went to a retail technology trade show recently.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Asda is a good employer to work for with good benefits, with the apprenticeship it a good way to earn and gain a degree at the same time. Being able to use what is learnt at university and exposed at work where they gain experience and develop themselves.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to ASDA?
  • To be themselves, it's about they behaviour and not the skills. Go into the local store and see what and how the colleagues working.
