Finance Administrator Review

My role involved day to day processing of financial documents and learning the functions within a finance team. I handled the finance inbox, processing invoices, dealing with stakeholders and answering internal queries within the organisation.

I have learnt so much since the inception of my apprenticeship, I started with near to no knowledge of the finance function within an organisation so my skills and learning have only improved.

I really enjoy my apprenticeship programme, from the day to day job and the learning from my training provider is all great and helps me to develop in the profession.

The apprenticeship is structured perfectly, I am allocated 1 study day a week in which I spend time with my tutor and classmates working through new and existing topics to better my skills and learning.

I receive as much support from my employer as I desire. I am fortunate to have colleagues who have done this apprenticeship like myself so there is plenty of knowledge should I require it.

I would not have achieved my qualifications without them. They make it easy to understand and ensure we have plenty of revision material to use. We also have mock exams which help to prepare for the real exams in the apprenticeship.

As my training provider and employer have regular reviews, we can decide on which areas to develop so my role at work and my apprenticeship compliment my learning as much as possible.

There is networking events which I have been involved with organising and assisting and running.
