I am confident this higher level apprenticeship (level 5) will enable me to further develop my leadership/management skills including decision making, budgeting, relationship building, taking accountability, conflict management and setting goals and expectations. I have played an active role when it came to curriculum sequencing and the structure of the programme seems to be perfectly suited.
I have really enjoyed the programme so far- the initial activities I have recently completed were relevant and engaging. My assessor is responsive, knowledgeable and flexible. My manager is supportive and always encouraging. The curriculum has been sequenced effectively and strategically.
During my onboarding session, completed in March, the provider explained exactly how the programme would be structured and offered flexibility with modules. I have played a key role when it came to curriculum sequencing. My manager also had a vital input. I have a good understanding of what skills, knowledge and behaviors I will be able to develop throughout the programme as well as of EPA activities.
I have received continued support from my employer over the years. I started in 2016 as an intern. In 2017 I accepted a full time role as operations assistant and shortly after moved onto management. I was given the opportunity to complete a level 3 apprenticeship a couple of years ago and I have now been given the opportunity to further develop my leadership skills by completing a higher level apprenticeship. My manager provides me with incredible support, advice and guidance on a regular basis. I am proud to be part of an organisation committed to career development and encouraging positive progressions.
The programme in well structure and my assessor is responsive, encouraging and flexible. My onboarding session was smooth and my first one-to-one was engaging. The workload is manageable so far and my online portfolio user friendly. I am grateful for the support received so far.
This qualification is incredibly relevant. As part of my role I am responsible for overseeing all operational activities, implementing new processes and systems to ensure efficiency, contributing to the organisational strategy, mentoring and leading a team whilst ensuring compliance at all times.
Extra-curricular activities are strongly encouraged (away days, socials, networking etc.). CPD is always on the agenda too.
