when in the training centre you will be taught by highly experienced instructors who give you a very good understanding on different courses your learning and the basics you need to know. when on your tools on a job your working with individuals who have experience, learning the hand tools
yes i came into the apprenticeship not really knowing massive amount but had a big interest, i have learnt many new things that i will take on a day to day life.
i enjoy the programme very much however i do feel that there's a lack of communication at some stages when you've got courses as such.
I feel its very structured, you get enough time to revise for exams however when you have the course it can get changed last minute which I don't think is great because you've worked holiday round it, you don't get told directly when courses have been cancelled.
you receive so much support and i feel comfortable going to my line manager with any problem i have or something i don't agree with. on the businesses intranet there is so much support with mental health and youve got occupational health on site you can see too.
you get given more than enough support to get what you need and anything you find difficult they are more than happy to go over it more than once with you.
i feel alot more as you have more of an understanding than you did before and you know why you can do things certain ways and more reason behind things.
there is events like pay day social and other things outside of work you can do that will get emailed to you,.
Yes
I feel they really value you as an employee and they have so many things to help you if your in need of advice and they have so many schemes you can take part in that benefit you.
just be you and be professional.
