Stock handling. Interacting with customers and selling to them. Managing a team to deliver good shop standards and trading legally.
Developed my communication skills and I have a greater understanding of retail and how to excel in the field.
Was neglected for a long time passed from trainer to trainer and so had very little understanding of the program. It wasn't until he came a long I had confidence in the programme and was supported to get onto the end point assessments.
It's well structured I just had no guidance and wasn't shown how to use anything.
The employer gave me time to complete of the job training and always look to develop their staff.
No support at all really for nearly 2 years. But he came along and got me ready to take my end point assessment in just 2 months. Shows right trainer with right mindset you can achieve anything.
Gave me knowledge of best practice when communicating and gave me more confidence regarding the legal side of things.
We do lots of social events it's like a family.
Yes
A lovely tight knit team great for confidence building and development if you want to go into management.
Be open to learning new skills and taking on more responsibilities. The more diverse you become the greater value to the company and the more rewarding your job becomes.
