  • Completing service requests and incidents raised, providing solutions to end users to fix account and access issues, complete daily uploads on command prompts, answering phone calls from users and helping them to identify their issue and how to resolve it.

  • Yes; teamwork, communication, report writing, it technical capabilities, time management, problem solving, and more.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • It's been a really great programme as I have developed new and existing skills, met nice people, networked with people in different departments with different levels of experience, and given me an opportunity to get into this career.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is well structured as we are given a time frame of what is expected to be completed by each quarter end. The managers help you if you need it and it is ultimately down to you to make sure everything is completed so you are managing it partly yourself.

  • A good amount. If I need support, then they are there for me, and they keep regular meetings to ensure you are on track and make sure you are hitting your own goals you have set yourself.

  • Same as I previously said; if I need support, then they are there for me.

  • Really well, I have learnt skills that have been transferrable into my job role.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes, however sometimes you would need to travel to a different location and travel for this is not paid for

  • The support and networking opportunities are great and the pay is good.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to IBM?
  • Be yourself and showcase what you are bringing to the company as individuality is the key to having a diverse team. Treasure wild ducks! :)
