Highway design engineer. I work on approving S38 and S278 agreement drawings, designs of highway maintenance schemes and major projects

Improved my CAD skills and learnt a lot about different standards

Well organised. I have been assigned a mentor for the ICE which will help me get my professional qualification and Kier are very supportive of progression

A lot of support.

A lot, they support me if i wish to achieve a qualification. Especially my degree

Very well as what i learn on the course relates to my day to day activities

Social events are set up often by the emerging talent team

They are a large organisation who are willing to invest in the younger generation of students to help them become the best employee they can. They acknowledge the importance of the apprenticeship and the training that is required

Keep a log of every project you work on, it will help with the professional development side of your career
