Learnt accounting completely from scratch as a school leaver. Developed my communication and professional behaviour skills as well as time management and organisation
Enjoy the interesting nature of the job, getting to see the behind the scenes of businesses. As a school leaver the exams are set out so they are never overwhelming. Supported by colleagues as well as a lot of social activities put on by work
Set out from the very beginning in terms of exams and progression if these are passed over the full 4 years.
Plenty of time off as well as extra support if any exams are failed. Also get coached within the day to day roles you take on.
Constant email and support hubs open throughout the exam periods. Lots of different resources provided

LOTS of social events. At least once a month as well as an away day once a year and lots of social events put on outside of work with colleagues. Plenty of different networks and sports teams that can be joined.

Incredibly supportive company with great values. Treated as a person rather than a number. Lots of emphasis around wellbeing and ensuring that everyone is delivering top quality work without overworking anyone.
Be personable in the interview. As said BDO have a great culture and great values and I'm sure they must look for it in candidates
