I shadow some teammates, participate in daily scrum meetings, and work on tickets.
Yes, I learned JavaScript and React.
I'm grateful I get to be in this programme but I my team was based on UK so that there's more engagement.
I think it really depends on the team you're working with and the line manager.
I've been getting good support from my mentor and the apprenticeship manager.
I haven't been getting that much support from the training provider.
I joined an interest group called Women in Technology.
Yes
It has good work life balance and most people I've met at Pearson are friendly.
They need to be able to somewhat navigate on their own because some teams are not based in the UK. So just come in with an open mind and be ready to learn. And it's also a plus if they're interested in education.
