My role involves working with my team to create strategies for improving our brands. I get to help with advertising campaigns, social media and other smaller admin tasks such as gifting to influencers or consumers.
My knowledge within consumer goods as a whole has improved significantly and I have begun to understand how the world of marketing works.
The company is great and has a lot to offer in all aspects of the business. You are respected as an apprentice and can get involved in all areas.
Day to day within my team it is very organised, however there could be some slight improvements to the apprenticeship side. You are trusted to maintain a healthy work/study balance.
My employer is on hand whenever needed however they do not have much involvement in my day to day work life.
The training provider is very good at providing us with all the help and resources needed to excel at our course.
My role and my qualification link quite closely therefore it gives me an extra layer of insight that some of my colleagues may have not explored.
I am involved in my netball team which is great fun and helps you to meet new people in other parts of the business. There are also lots of other activities that you can get involved in.

As an apprentice, I've had such a positive experience so far. I feel like the company is very welcoming and helped me to develop useful skills which I can take away with me into my future career.
Be confident and be yourself. Unilever is an environment of friendly, welcoming people.
