I do management accounts for clients including aiding VAT returns, bookkeeping, payment runs and helping clients through an audit.
My excel skills have developed a lot and I have learnt so much about business and how they manage their own finances and how our reports help them make better financial decisions.
I enjoy the structure and the people. Sometimes studying can be stressful whilst working.
It is well structured, however our qualifications team could be better structured.
There is so much support and love from the team I have and they are always willing to help.
I don't get study leave with AAT qualification but they always give me enough resources to be able to get by in the evenings.
Helps me understand the theory behind the work
Networking events and social events
Yes
It is a great first job as they pay well, the company has a good reputation, the people are very nice and I feel a sense of belonging there.
Research the company and the role and make sure to be confident and enthusiastic even if you have no knowledge of the work.
