  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role mainly involves sales. Placing orders for customers, quoting customers, ordering stock. I also deal with the health and safety of the branch as well as some operational tasks.

  • I have learnt a lot of new skills. As this industry is completely new to me I have learnt a lot of different things about it. From my apprenticeship I have learnt and developed management skills.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoyed learning the new skills and gaining a better understanding of how things work and what is expected. Some topics were more enjoyable than others.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It was very well structured and was easy to understand what you needed to do and when you needed to do it. The length of the programme I feel could have been made shorter with the amount of work that was required to do.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I gained the right amount of support to complete my course. Whenever I needed to work on it they were more than happy for me to step aside and spend time on it and if I ever needed any help the members of my team were happy to help.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Training provider was very good. Whenever I needed some help they were easy to contact and always got back to me in a timely manner. They made the course much easier for myself.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel like I have a better understanding of management and I now know what is expected of someone in a management role. This will help me massively in the future as I look to scale the management ladder in my career.

  • Yes

  • From my experience from working here in the last 18 months, TP Plc is a great place to work. They are many company benefits and they treat you like you are part of the team.

  • There is always a chance to develop and progress your career within the TP Plc group. If that is something that you would like to do then you should definitely make the jump and go for it.
