Project management form start to finish, including hosting meetings, communicating with stakeholders, creating Gantt charts and communication plans etc.
I've learned to use the tools and theory in actual projects which has increased my effectiveness as a project manager
I enjoy it a lot, however due to hybrid working, It is harder to network and socialise. The apprenticeship programme is effective with reasonable time for each assignment, and employees at VMO2 who have gone through it before are available for me to ask questions.
well organised, however the online webinars could be more frequent, and I haven't had contact from my apprenticeship tutor yet.
Lots of support for anything I could need, flexible working conditions and with dedicating enough time to studying.
I've had multiple meetings with someone from BPP however he is only filling in for my tutor as I have not had contact from him/her yet.
It is a great blend of theory and practical application of the knowledge learned in the online resources.
Annual camping events for employees, charity volunteering during working hours, Xmas party (joined in Jan so haven't attended one yet), a few online streams a month where employees can network with others including heads of departments (including directors).
Yes
They place great value on a home to work life balance, and provide lots of events for professional networking and socialising. Flexible working environment with great facilities and they encourage a friendly, helpful environment.
They don't expect you to know everything straight away (atleast when applying for an apprenticeship). Show a willingness to adapt and learn, and any knowledge you do have. Just be easy to work with.
