Day to day work entails carrying out various required jobs for the team. The jobs are significant and they mosltly affect the greater team and are things that are looking to improve certain areas in the future with the emergence on new technology and how to implement these into current systems.
The skills i have learnt are something that allows me to carry out my day to day job. Learning more about the devices I am working on allows me to better understand them and know specifc do and don'ts for each individual device. I have also developed my previous software skills.
I would say to a large extent. The programme and placed the required information in a package that is understandable and also interesting which I would say greatly boosts my mood and encourages me to carry out my role to the best of my ability on a day to day basis
I believe my programme is pretty well structured. It lays out the information I need in a way that makes it understand and dissectible for me personally. However, I would say that some of my modules are not as well structured as others so these take me a lot longer to process and requires more work.
I receive a lot of support. If i ever need something I believe I am in an environment where i can ask a question and I know the right people to ask the question to. The answers I get are usually throughout and very help for me to progress foward.
I receive a lot of support in regards to my qualification. Sessions are organised outside of the usual in order to help better understand concepts that are my difficult to understand at first glace. These have been especially useful in recent times with exam and assignment season
I would say that the two are directly related. The information and knowledge I gain from the training programme is transferable into my role and helps me decipher problems quicker since I have already seen similar circumstances in the training programme when it comes to working it is similar to before
There are many extra circular activities to get involved in. Many entails sports such as tennis, or basketball or football and these are very accessible. Another big extra circular activity is the gym, this is something that is very popular and encouraging to go to since it is so easy to get too
Yes
This is because of the amount of opportunities that are created here and the progression involved. There are so many different direction you could take so this greatly encourages a wide variety of different skilled people to apply. The environment is very welcoming and all the information you need is in one place.
I would say that being yourself and showing your personality is very important so you don't come across and another cog in the system. I think presenting yourself in a professional manor that aligns with the business values are important and being able to be confident yet not over confident
