  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I have just started a new role. At the moment I am checking that the different backups are working as expected and data is available. I do raise hardware calls with the different vendors when a system is not working as expected.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The units learned during my apprenticeship have not covered most of the work I do on a daily basis. It would be handy to know at the beginning of the apprenticeship what units I will need to complete during the course, the time I am expected to use to complete them. On another note, I would find more valuable to learn the concepts putting them into practice with case scenarios rather than just explaining concepts as I feel that practice helps to understand them better.
