I deal with Healthcare schemes (Private Medical Insurance, Dental, Travel etc) and Group Risk schemes (Group Life Assurance and Group Income Protection etc). I provide administration support to a sales consultant by helping assist with renewals, queries, claims, underwriting, membership etc. I ensure that the client has adequate cover in place and that they receive documentation and information in a timely manner.
I have learnt lots of new skills since joining Aon. For example, I have learnt how to work in an professional office environment, how to write emails, how to communicate professionally and in a timely manner. I have also learnt how to network with different people in different areas of Aon
I really enjoyed my programme as an Employee Benefits apprentice. Within my time as an apprentice, I completed three different rotations - one in Healthcare Support, Risk Support and Healthcare Broking. In this rotations, I was able to meet new people within the teams and learn the roles of each team member
I completed three different rotations - one in Healthcare Support, Risk Support and Healthcare Broking. I was given a line manager who held overall responsibility over me as an apprentice as well as a line manager in each rotation who I could go to with any queries or problems and they would be able to help.
I feel like I receive lots of support from my employer by having weekly catch up meetings and general check in messages. My managers also provide additional training for any areas in both Healthcare and Risk that I felt like I needed more help in as well as helping support me in my exams
I feel supported by my training provider when they provide me with lots of mock papers that I can practice and a day of workshop training where a member of the team will spend the day going through each chapter of the exam in detail and answering any questions along the way
I am now Cert CII and I feel like I am better able to advise on the products and give clients valuable information,
Yes there are, but I am not part of any
