Definition of my role is Assistant Planner in which I track day to day on site progress, report outputs to project teeam, assist the Senior Planner in updating progress and creating visual presentations/diagrams to communicate project progress to the wider project team; in addition doing takeoffs and creating quantity trackers in order to measure on site metrics. Furthermore, I manage the last planner software within the project and facilitate collaborative planning sessions between Principle contractor and subcontractors. I also manage site tours for third parties and finally assist Planning team in their day to day work.
Majority of Microsoft Skills suh as Excel and MS Project, P6, Bluebeam, Aphex, AutoCAD.
I have enjoyed it a lot, whilst broadening my social network it has allowed me to enhance my skills and experience within Mace. The training programme is very useful and I do think it helps me within my career progression.
