I look after 2-5 year old children in a Montessori environment focusing on child led education. I have 5 key children
I have developed existing skills due to my being a private music teacher for 26 years and having my own child. I have however learned more about the framework of early years education
I find my apprenticeship more geared for students who have had no experience or no children of their own and find some elements repetitive but on the whole it is enjoyable and my rotor is fabulous.
It is very well organised and I know where I am and what’s coming up next well in advance
I receive a lot of support from my employer and a lot of time is devoted to my mentoring
I receive as much support as I need and can ask for help whenever I need it.
It definitely covers all areas but it would be better if there was an option for it to be tailored to older learners (I’m 46)
No there are no extra curricular activities
Yes
They are very good at what they do.
