working on contracts, invoicing and communicating with different teams to create the required work for completion. we have daily team calls in the morning and my role is very much a supportive role to the brokers i work with. This is not exclusive to one person and i instead work across the whole team.
I have learnt an incredible amount of new skills, not only in the industry i work in but also on a personal level, as i joined this programme as a school leaver . Meaning this has been great in my personal development across the board as i am able to work harder and make stronger connections
i have really enjoyed the programme, as explained it has been great in my personal development and start of my career that i feel will stay with me through out my journey in life. it has definitely helped to prepare me and accelerate my learning in every area i work towards
the programme is organised however there have been some issues with the learning provider, this has nothing to do with the company i work for. however the learning provider could definitely do with improvement as there was lots of time delays and some issues with communication on some of the tasks i completed
I received a really strong amount of support from my employer, with my manager and team being great in the lead up to my exams. They have also been more than willing to help with my progress and development in any areas i have need additional support from them on.
my training provider was good in there approach towards my qualifications, however there was definitely room for improvement. with communication issues, delays and sometimes a lack of knowledge. I feel they would benefit from being better organised and helping to provide additional recourses for examinations as the preparation is very limited
i think my qualification has helped me with a much more professional approach to working life. however the extent to which it has expanded my knowledge has been very limited, but it has hopefully provided good exposure to different areas that i feel has benefited me in the long run.
there are lots of extra-curricular activities at work, with the industry being a very social one this has been a great way to connect with new people and expand my network further. There are also team days that help with the inner connection, meaning work can be produced much more effectively as the team work stronger as one
Yes
i would recommend aon as i have had such a positive experience with the company, and have found it to be a great working environment with there being a sense of community that i really enjoy. Everyone i have come across have been wonderful to work with, and there is a great amount of opportunity within the company
i would recommend being yourself, as the company are very approachable, being friendly and kind will get you a long way in the process. It is an industry based on people so i would recommend you to bring forward a strong personality more than anything else. Just try your best, it will get noticed!
