I was a technical apprentice doing rotations through many different departments including quality, Manufacturing engineering, facilities, maintenance
many, communication, teamwork, management, technical
I enjoyed it a lot, always doing some thing different
very organised, plenty of support and rotations and education is fully planned out.
Had a lot of support at work and college from my dedicated mentor and overall apprenticeship leader
Had a dedicate learning manager who oversaw everything done at college to ensure we had what we needed and could progress as best as possible
They were key to explain the theory behind the practical tasks completed at work
Networking events and opportunities and apprenticeship advertisement shows. community work is a big part of Cummins' ethos
Yes
plenty of opportunity and care for apprentices to grow and improve
be open, be different, work hard
