  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am a Social Care Recruitment Coordinator. We are recruiting candidates for domiciliary home care workers. The Recruitment Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the organisation's end to end recruitment processes, by supporting the management and overall delivery of effective recruitment and selection services, including writing and advertising jobs.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • During my training I have attended few workshops where i developed new skills. I was also receiving feedback from my managers and tutor which helped to identifying areas where I have improved and areas for continuing growth. I have better understanding of recruitment process, learnt more about Equality Act 2010

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I love what I do, therefore i love the fact that i have the opportunity to learn more about recruitment. I enjoy the workshadow where i can do role playing, shadow my colleagues, attend meetings and learn new skills. I also enjoy submitting my activities. I like that i can contact my tutor whenever i need help

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • This system that outlines how certain activities are directed in order to achieve the goals of an organization. My programme is well organised connected to what i have to do at work, motivating and improving me. There is already a huge progress since i started the course. It also flexible.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • During my course i receive plenty of support from my employer and colleagues . They help me with my course if I needed, they also assure i have time during my work time to complete activities what i have to submit on time. Last time my manager had to write a Witness Testimony about me which she did. I get 100% support

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receive lots of support from my training provider during my course too. I have a monthly meeting with my tutor where we discuss each activities that i have to work on. I can also contact my tutor anytime by email and by phone call to ask questions or any help if needed

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel 100% sure that my qualification through my training provider helps me to perform better in my role. I can tell for sure that i am developing my skills, my communication skills has got better. I already feel more confident in my current role, having professional knowledge/ qualification behind me.
