Cummins gives you the opportunity to improve as a person and an engineer. I'm trusted to work autonomously and feel apart of a team and have many experienced and accomplished engineers that i can ask for help.
very well organised
I'm in an office surrounded by experienced engineers who i can ask for help, also colleagues from different teams within the organization are always willing to help if required. I am allowed the appropriate time to complete work and any work associated with my apprenticeship.
All the tutors are willing to help and explain what is required well.
For me and my role, Appris has provided the basic foundation of engineering. This role is very specific towards gas stand testing and at Appris we have only touched on basic concepts that can be tied back to this role.
There are regular networking events covering a wide range of things and nice team events such as Christmas Breakfast. My team also goes for a Christmas meal together.
Yes
The working conditions are really good and the managers seem to care more for personal development and wellbeing rather than results driven. In general the working conditions and opportunity to progress in to a role you enjoy makes this a great place to work.
