My role consists of renewing contracts, paying and managing the accounts for all block utilities, compliance monitoring, council tax court summons and queries, property management and occasionally assisting with large admin tasks.
Having never worked in property before, I've developed my knowledge, confidence, conversation skills, written communication, verbal communication, understanding of vulnerability, office standards, as well as teaching me practical skills for the job such as contract management, property management and how our system works.
I enjoy the programme, and have been really lucky to have experienced two knowledgeable and passionate tutors, who have relayed their enthusiasm to me.
It's well organised, but relies heavily on the learner's ability to organise themselves.
Plenty, they have always allowed extra time where necessary, but has been tricky at times with the high workload.
Plenty, and my discussions away from both work and the tutor have allowed me to make my own decisions whilst being supported by both regardless of the outcome.
It makes learning outside of the job more a must, which benefits my general understanding and knowledge on unfamiliar topics.
Yes, I play football every Monday night with the office.

It's a small fish in a big pond, about to expand and double it's current portfolio span it's in the early stages of what is about to become a go-to for the rental market. The staff is always expanding as new job roles become available with the expansion, which means new faces are regularly coming in. The small-ish size of the office allows for a malleable experience, with the chance to gain experience in a variety of roles where the business needs extra hands.
Come prepared, be professional and once you're in, it's great fun.
