post, faxing, telephone booking cancelling appointments taking messages managing queries doing jobs for the doctors finding notes scanning prescriptions chasing results dealing with care homes, DN's and chemists.
how to deal with difficult customers, good understanding of the software, learning how everything works here including protocols, learning how to understand what to do within a difficult situation, I have also been training in CPR
very much so I feel part of the team and not just a person who is placed here for a period of time this surgery is like a big family and very welcoming

they manage classes and meetings around working - however, if there is a case where it is within my shift work are able to arrange how that day will work and will work around my classes and meetings
a lot - my assessor is always there if needed this includes telephone email and text - she is understanding and always checks in on me
a lot - they are there when needed they help me if I am stuck and teach me different ways to do different tasks I feel they have been more than accommodating and you know where to go when there is a problem

because there is so much to learn if you enjoy helping people and can understand and do your best when some one is un happy for whatever reason and don't take it personally this is something for you!!
to be calm - it doesn't matter if you are unsure always asks questions it is not worth to make a mistake as this is some ones health which is extremely important - you learn how to cope and understand different protocols and what not to do
