Helping them team with marketing duties, this could involve research for clients, social media posts, event planning. We are in the office everyday and communicate with the whole team effectively. Projects I am working on are building our own social media channels up like Linked In and Twitter by using my university training.
Existing skills I have developed are communications skills, confidence, working under pressure and professionalism. I have learnt new skills like how to analyse our websites google analytics, how to use canva for different things like report designing and social media posts. As well as be able to use excel and powerpoint efficiently.
I enjoy my program, the people I work with are understanding and give the right ammount of support when needed. I like the type of clients we work with and using different industries. The course in uni itself is well done and very structured, all the information you need is online.
The course is very well structured, the review meetings are well organised and are very helpful. the assignments are well spread out and I don't feel we are rushing anything. sometimes expecting to fit full topics over 2 6 hour days is unnessacary as our group is a fast learner, this can make it quite slow.
the support I receive from my employer and other team members is very high, they let me figure out things for myself as well as giving me guidance when needed or asked for. They give me the right amount of tasks with out feeling overwhelmed or like I am too busy
a lot, they are always very enthusiastic about my assignments , they like to know if they can help, if I need to offload any client work onto them of a deadline is approaching. they also like to read all of my assignments and like to celebrate when I do well
as I am the only marketing person within this company, the things I learn with in university are all new to the people in the agency I get to teach them as I go along which also helps me retain the information. putting it into practice then becomes second nature
going to event is a big one at glibber, we always like to make ourselves present in client events, hosting out own events, working events, or being invitees to networking events. this allows us to build our clientele and gain new work. whenever something positive happens we go out for a team lunch too!
Yes
they are a great bunch of people who doesn't take things too seriously which allows it to be a nicer place to be, it takes pressure off anything and they are just her to support each other, this ca be with client work or personal life, the team is there.
make yourself different, this company didn't know about degree apprentices until I approached them, they weren't even hiring. I spoke to my boss about what I wanted to do and her was just as intrigued as I was. this allowed me to get the job.also if you like bikes that helps
