  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • On a day to day basis I will be expected to service the machinery and equipment. At the moment, in our first year we are expected to attend a engineering college and develop our understanding of what our job role is and how we are expected to perform when back at company.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • There is occasionally a moment where the teaching staff at the college are unsure of what they are doing or leave you to figure it out yourself, but apart from them occasions it is well structured, we have received maps of our apprenticeship and career as a whole and had constant meetings with manager to see if there are any suggestive feedback

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Each week our training provider scores us on multiple areas and shows us where we can improve and better ourselves. The teachers are always willing to provide support and still challenge you so that you learn something and don’t become dependent on the lecturers. Some are more friendly than others but they all have experience and lots and lots of knowledge
