I am a software engineering apprentice and I am part of a small team with other apprentices. We are given work-based projects and we are responsible for creating apps from the design, development, and deployment stage. A typical day includes morning stand-up, meetings, and completing tasks set by our scrum master.
I have learned many skills during my apprenticeship. This includes designing an app, full-stack development, and also deployment.
Working with other apprentices makes the program enjoyable. It allows us to share ideas and learn together in a professional setting
The overall structure of the program is very organized. There is a good amount of opportunity and time allocated for apprentices to complete work-related and apprenticeship-related tasks.
Both my manager and project lead are very supportive. They understand that this is a learning opportunity for apprentices always want the the best for them
Very supportive. Regular one-to-ones and are always reachable if you need to contact them
The modules covered by the training provider directly apply to the tech stack I use at work, which has been extremely helpful for me to complete my tasks.
There are many opportunities to get involved on professional networking and social events.

Good work-life balance. Very supportive leadership.
Be curious, and ask questions.
