Within my role I complete care act assessments and care plan reviews. I also plan support packages for individuals who are open to the Community Mental Health Team.
I have learnt a lot about the laws surrounding social work. I have also develoed my skills within the mental health sector.
I generally enjoy the programme although think some of the teaching sessions could be improved.
Generally the structure is fab! I think they give enough time and teaching for each unit. I think some of the units could be taught differently in the sense of providing more information on what exactly they are looking for in our assignments.
I receive a lot of support from my employer. They respect that I am completing a degree and provide supervision sessions to review my progress.
I receive a lot of support from MMU with reviews and from tutors directly.
I think this qualification has definitely helped to improve the way I work and they way I support individuals.
There are plenty of professional networking events
