  • Within my role I complete care act assessments and care plan reviews. I also plan support packages for individuals who are open to the Community Mental Health Team.

  • I have learnt a lot about the laws surrounding social work. I have also develoed my skills within the mental health sector.

  • I generally enjoy the programme although think some of the teaching sessions could be improved.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Generally the structure is fab! I think they give enough time and teaching for each unit. I think some of the units could be taught differently in the sense of providing more information on what exactly they are looking for in our assignments.

  • I receive a lot of support from my employer. They respect that I am completing a degree and provide supervision sessions to review my progress.

  • I receive a lot of support from MMU with reviews and from tutors directly.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I think this qualification has definitely helped to improve the way I work and they way I support individuals.

  • There are plenty of professional networking events

  • Yes

  • Rochdale council has given me a lot of opportunities and has recognised my abilities and supported me to reach my goals.

  • When applying, just remember that you have to start somewhere.. it may not be your end goal but Rochdale Council will support you to reach that goal.
