Bartending and food running. Making sure guests are happy and that the pub is clean and tidy, and everything is up together. Helping out where needed, and ensuring that everything is running smoothly.
My confidence has increased since doing the apprenticeship. I have learned a lot more about working front of house. I have learned and implemented into my day to day job role different styles of service and how to improve the guest experience overall.
I enjoyed the programmed very much. I am grateful to have been give the opportunity to complete it and all of the support that came along with it!
It was very well organised. Everything was consistent and there were always conversations about how I was doing and if I needed any help. The programme itself was very supportive.
I received so much support from my employer. Including check ins on how I was doing, and if there was anything that could be done to give extra help and support. We also sat down and went through anything I was unsure of or needed assistance with.
Again, I received so much support from the training provider - this was from help and support in our video chat sessions all the way down to emailing anything I may need and asking if there was anything else that could help with my learning.
I feel very confident in saying that my qualification has helped me to perform better. Not only do I have a better knowledge and understanding of my job role, but I have also gone from team member to shift leader, with help from my extensive knowledge and ability to do the job at hand!
