  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • In my opinion the Programme is structured very well. I feel I have sufficient time between my online lessons to do assignments. The delivery of the work and how everything is formatted makes it relatively easy to understand. Also if there is anything I have difficulty with there are guides and my tutor is always at hand to help me navigate.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • As an organisation on a whole, my employer and designated staff are at hand to help if I need it. My branch manager and field supervisor are very supportive and always check my progress. They arrange my work schedule in a way where I have enough time to do my studies and should any extra need arise they make adjustments.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I believe that this qualification better equips me for my role. Example I am learning the laws and regulations in more depth so it helps me deal with situations better and never work outside of the scope of my role. This qualification also reinforces my responsibilities to the service user and I can give accurate information if needed.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are no social activities, sports team or professional networking events that I know of at my work. I work in domiciliary homecare so the only contact I have with other co-workers are our I go to the office or I see other carers as I am travelling to the service user. It would be nice to have an extra curricular activity that involved work staff.
