I support the Customer Supply Chain team.
I'm not a very analytical person but working in supply chain has really improved my analytical thinking and problem solving. This apprenticeship has improved my social skills and confidence with the amount of collaboration with teams and customers.
I really enjoy this programme, it gives me the opportunity to be more responsible and take ownership and my team and the university support me thoroughly.
It's very structured. 4 days of the week is for practical experience in the workplace and one day a week is for 20% of the job learning.
I receive a lot of support, there are apprenticeship advisors, apprentice catch ups - giving a chance to network with the other apprentices from the programme, and more.
I receive a lot of support from the training provider, they provide advisors, mentors (who are also apprentices taking the same programme but with more experience), etc.
I'm able to implement the things I learnt in university and use it at work. I can also use what I learn from my employer and use it for university.
There are so many social activities its crazy. I love it. There's parties, networking opportunities, sports teams.
Yes
Its really fun to work here, lots of freebies and benefits and social activities and support. Everyone is very friendly.
Don't be afraid to ask questions. Everyone is always open to answering questions. It really helped develop my curiosity. Everyone is willing to help you learn and grow, so don't be afraid to ask lots of questions.
