This role requires me to check customers and dealer documentation such as pay slips, bank statements and legal documentation (contracts). We communicate with our customers via text, email and also phone call. As part of the role we seek to understand the customers e.g we may call our customers to ask about their bank statements and payslips
The skills I have learnt through this role would be call handling, communication and development of collaborative relationships skills e.g building rapport with our customers and dealers as well as our team. It has also helped to improve my self confidence on decision making skills and communicating my ideas with others (eg the team)
I enjoy the programme very much, I have had the opportunity to meet new people who have been very supportive throughout my apprenticeship. I have also have meetings with my team leader and coach where I am able to identify my weaknesses and have actions set to challenge myself and improve my overall peformance
It is very well organized, I have access to my work planner so I am able to see who is free when I need help and also what I am doing in the work, my university days are set well in advance so I know when I need to attend university and also have a Uni mentor in work who helps me work in my assignments and gives me advice for university
I receive a lot of support, I am clear of my expectations of my role and also am able to communicate what’s expectations are for those who support me. I have 1-1 with my team leader quite often where I am able to show my progress as well as any concerns I may have. I also have support from the Uni as I have a skills coach and also have a Uni mentor at work to help me balance my work
I have a lot of support, my Uni mentor is able to advise me on how to balance my time management by making small goal posts to work towards and ideas. My team also help for ideas as well as my team leader who catches up with me to see where I am at, what I am working on
The qualification helps me to come more self aware and this can translate in the work, I have a better understanding of the company and my purpose, why I am there and also helps me to understand more about time management, with methods and theories which I can apply to my work life
Yes our company has a budget every quarter for us to spend more time with the team and build our relationships outside of work for example we have gone bowling, laser quest and also went to miller and carter and plan to go to Alton towers this year. We also have meetings with the whole company eg we had a summer fair with a company update and rides that we could go on after
