  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Unfortunately I havent had a very good experience at the beginning of my apprenticeship. I lacked the support and guidance i required from the BUD staff which has placed me on a back foot and unable to do my course propertly, but since he has taken over as my Skills Coach, he has assisted in understanding and helping me get back on track.

  • 9a. Would you recommend AIPS to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I prefer all the extra assistance on the learning aids for the CERT exams and by having that bit of extra support I feel i have passed my last 2 exams with the extra support - although i feel if they were a bit more in depth i would have got higher results. Rob is a fantastic skills coach and has turned everything around for me since he has started

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to AIPS?
  • Stick to the tasks and try not to get behind as this snowballs. Alwats keep in touch with the Skills coach as they will assist in getting everything done on time - ask for Rob!!
