I am a client facing Account Exec. My duties are to service my clients and look after their day to day requirements. This can be from New Business right through the year and through their renewals. Being their first point of contact.
Yes, as i am now sales driven and client facing, I have learnt to adapt my role and be more sympathetic and reliable
It has been really good to polish up my English and maths skills as it has been a long time since i have been in any teaching environment and there have been many changes since leaving education.
Unfortunately I havent had a very good experience at the beginning of my apprenticeship. I lacked the support and guidance i required from the BUD staff which has placed me on a back foot and unable to do my course propertly, but since he has taken over as my Skills Coach, he has assisted in understanding and helping me get back on track.
I get good support from my employer
Previously not a great deal - now i get a lot
A great deal as part of the training is my Cert in Insurance
Yes, as my job is now client facing, there are lots of Charity events and networking events i am able to attend which advances my skills
Yes
I prefer all the extra assistance on the learning aids for the CERT exams and by having that bit of extra support I feel i have passed my last 2 exams with the extra support - although i feel if they were a bit more in depth i would have got higher results. Rob is a fantastic skills coach and has turned everything around for me since he has started
Stick to the tasks and try not to get behind as this snowballs. Alwats keep in touch with the Skills coach as they will assist in getting everything done on time - ask for Rob!!
