When I first took the apprenticeship course I was a customer adviser, my job role is to make sure the customer is leaving our store with everything they need and a great experience.
I have learnt new ways to communicate with customers, and some right ways on how to deal with certain situations.
I really enjoyed the programme, it helped me to move up and become a team leader.
The structure of the programme was well balanced, even through covid.
I received enough support for B&Q to complete my apprenticeship and to even get a distinction grade.
Every time I required help from my trainer she would respond in a timely manner and even gave me her phone number to ensure I wasn't behind.
It has helped to improve the way I communicate with everyone in store.
Professional networking events.
Yes
I feel B&Q are a great company to work for, they provide you with so much support and chances to extend your learning through their apprenticeship programmes.
Don't be afraid to learn, it honestly helps you to progress and grow.
