I work as a duty manger so my role is to keep an eye on team members and the shift in general to make sure everything is going as it should. There are certain things I need to do as a manger that team members are not able to do
Yes since being on the apprenticeship I have learnt how to do my role more effectively and efficiently from the knowledge taught in the apprenticeship. Andrew my tutor has been amazing with helping me get thru assignments when struggling by really explaining the questions and being there if I need him.
I enjoy this programme as it is developing my skills as a duty manger and making me more and more confident during shifts as I can now use knowledge learnt from assignments into my shifts.
I would say that my apprenticeship is very well organised as my tutor (Andrew) will contact me to arrange meetings and the programme itself on Aptem is lay out very well! For example each assignment is organised by month.
I receive a lot of my Deputy hotel manger (val) as well as my tutor (Andrew) and this is support in my apprenticeship and general well being which I am very grateful for!
As mentioned in other questions I have a received a lot of help from my trainer during this apprenticeship! I feel as though I can speak to him not only about any queries for the apprenticeship but also my gentle well being which is lovely!
I feel my trainer (Andrew) has massively helped me perform better in my role and apprenticeship as he has always kept me motivated throughout my journey as well as this he has helped me mentally thru the hard times I have had recently which is much appreciated.

Yes
They are a very good company to work for as they always want best for their employees and always keeping staff happy.
The only thing I would honestly say needs improvement for premier inn new team members is the training provided so my advice for other applying would be if they get the job to push for requesting training.
