My role has started of really well and I have enjoyed it so far, and I felt very welcome to the company when I started. in my day to day role I get to the office at around 8 am and get something for breakfast and then after I have eaten I would make it up to the the sales floor and go through my emails, and then begin with calling my customers and aiming to push a sale through.
I have learnt loads of new skills since I have started my role at Softcat and i have seen a huge improvement in my networking and communication skill and I have also gained a lot of knowledge about IT
I have enjoyed the programme so much so far and am looking forward to much more of it.
The programme is very organised and we have a great clear time table that is updated all the time. and we always receive updates via email about all the upcoming events.
I receive all the support i need in my work space as i have a manager who only has few apprentices under them so that they are able to help me out at most points in the day
So far I have received a lot of support from the training provider, which has helped me hugely when i was struggling at points.
with the training provider we go on trips to their training site to have intense training on how we are able to become the best sales person. these classes have helped me learn how i am able to win my customers and how i can make the most from my sales.
Yes there are many work events that happen regularly which have allowed me to meet a load of new people in my company who i am able to go to an ask for support and advise at anytime.
Yes
I would recommend Softcat to a friend as the company has been very welcoming since i have been working here. and i have found the role very enjoyable and i think this is what alot of people would enjoy to look for.
I would advise anyone applying for Soft cat to just be themselves and not to be shy as the company is very social and everyone is willing to have a conversation to help you out
