My role in Cummins service training organisation is to help book and schedule staff and or customers in to training courses. Part of this process is to liaise with customers on their training needs, send quotes and process payments. We work with dealers and distributors to be able to hep them get booked on different courses mainly from European countries.
I would say adaptation, which is having the ability to be able to adapt is key to any smooth operation. Taking on a new task while in the middle of something else which has become a priority. Knowing that each person you work with has different skills that contribute to your organisation and being able to be patient with one another. Adaptation shows your ability to display your leadership skills, determination and also flexibility showing that you want to achieve an end goal all together as a team
Yes i did thoroughly enjoy my programme. I felt that it was a good balance of work and study.
Yes the programme was very well structured. We attended college once a month and from the session we went through what we had been doing and also going over the topic that we had been set. I felt very that it was best.
Yes i received lots of support from my employer. My colleagues' were very keen to have a sit down conversation or presentation of what it is i have been doing. All was very positive and made me feel supported.
I received lots of support. If i needed any help or guidance, i was able to call my assessor and also email. I would also receive a rely back very quickly and she was keen to help.
I felt that my project did help me with my role, as i was able to help think of a project that would help the training school, i got to then work closely with this in particular. However i only felt that the project helped me preform better in my role.
