My role is an IT assistant project manager which involves working on small to large projects which include system upgrades or introducing new systems and ways of working. Making sure a project is delivered in scope, quality and within the budget allocated.
Yes, doing a business transformation apprenticeship has taught me so much and it’s so easy to apply what I have learnt to my day to day role.
I’ve enjoyed the apprenticeship and meeting other people in the company, learning from their experiences and it reaffirms that we all work as one large team. I’ve also enjoyed the apprenticeship community and have met a few people across the country who are on the same journey.
It is well organised and structured, sometimes the modules feel like they are a bit out of place but they end up pulling together and they make you think
They are very supportive and was actually put forward to do this apprenticeship. I have reached out to different people in the company for support and information that I might need and everyone has been super helpful and offered other assistance too.
Supportive, they are approachable and address any concerns and questions that I have. They are prompt in replying and are always friendly
The apprenticeship has helped me a lot to apply my qualification to my role. Not being exposed to a change environment it has taught me methods of getting from an idea to a project.
Yes, teams are always doing social activities. We are looking to do a Summer social event where we get all of IT together for a day. We have had our first conference this year since covid and it was really nice to see our sponsors and people face to face
Yes
We have strong values that we adhere to, we have a very strong belief on safety and mental health. There are career opportunities available and training.
Put in effort as what you put in you’ll get out. Have an open mind in opportunities available and of they come take them. Expand your network with teams, no one minds you reaching out to them even if it’s just for some advice
