During the apprenticeship, the first year starts with just college then in the second year and third you are in work doing different roles to learn them while also having one day for college.
I’ve definitely learnt many skills in this apprenticeship especially mainly skills with my hands and how to work tools and the systems used at airbus. But the main skill for me is the communication needed for the job and this job has made my communication better massively.
I enjoy it to a high extent as the people are really welcoming and also very helpful on the job.
It’s well organised and structured going forward with the apprenticeship, I have had been involved with some problems in college due to lessons and not having a lecturer etc but this was resolved.
I receive a lot of support from my employer, they are very helpful with anything you need help with.
I receive good support when requested so it’s good to know I’ve got the good support when needed.
It has helped me during my role as this qualification has shown me how to do my job well and best way to avoid problems etc.
There are many different sport activities and social activities within Airbus which you can find on the website.
Yes
I would recommend Airbus as it’s a very good company to work for and very rewarding
I would definitely say make sure you know things about the company before joining so you know that it’s something for you, also make sure you are interested to work and put in the effort as it is busy and can get complicated.
