One day a week I am at college carrying out BTEC lessons. The rest of the week I am on site working in different departments across the company, learning many different skills.
Yes, I have learnt many skills, mostly related to my job, learning a lot about electronics. I have also learnt transferable skills and networking skills.
I have enjoyed the programme so far, I enjoy coming to work each day and believe it is a good career path for my future.
Very well organised at work, a pre planned structure of where we will work is decided and we are given a layout of what to expect. College could be more well organised and structured.
My employer is always happy to help with any issues I have and offers great advice in regards to the apprenticeship.
Leadership staff are supportive and inclusive, however, some tutors not so much. there could be improvements on lesson structure and teaching methods to assist all learners.
Without my qualification, I would have very little knowledge about any of the tasks I carry out at work.
Many events are available. Employee resource groups that host social events and 'catch ups'. company sports teams are also available.
Yes
They are a great company to work for and are very supportive and inclusive. They offer great opportunities and want everyone to do their best.
Be yourself and show your enthusiasm.
