  • One day a week I am at college carrying out BTEC lessons. The rest of the week I am on site working in different departments across the company, learning many different skills.

  • Yes, I have learnt many skills, mostly related to my job, learning a lot about electronics. I have also learnt transferable skills and networking skills.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have enjoyed the programme so far, I enjoy coming to work each day and believe it is a good career path for my future.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very well organised at work, a pre planned structure of where we will work is decided and we are given a layout of what to expect. College could be more well organised and structured.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer is always happy to help with any issues I have and offers great advice in regards to the apprenticeship.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Leadership staff are supportive and inclusive, however, some tutors not so much. there could be improvements on lesson structure and teaching methods to assist all learners.

  • Without my qualification, I would have very little knowledge about any of the tasks I carry out at work.

  • Many events are available. Employee resource groups that host social events and 'catch ups'. company sports teams are also available.

  • Yes

  • They are a great company to work for and are very supportive and inclusive. They offer great opportunities and want everyone to do their best.
