It all depends on the team and corporate environment. The actual testing can be interesting, as is working with different clientele. Managing studying with long work hours can be difficult and often mentally draining, but as long as you communicate your needs it is manageable.
The actual program is well structured, all exams/study leave organised and put into your calendar in advance. Internally trying to get in contact with the professional qualifications team can be difficult. Due to the rigidity of the programme, there isn't much flexibility if your personal circumstances require it.
Depends on the manager on each job. Usually everyone is very supportive and willing to help. There are a lot of accessible initiatives in place that ensure we receive any kind of support we need
There is an ask-the-tutor forum in which any questions are answered within 24hours. BPP tutors are very approachable and supportive. All workbooks/study materials are received on time for the most part. Access to ICAEW workbooks/question banks is timely.
A lot of the content is applicable to day-to-day, so having that knowledge has improved my acumen and general understanding of testing performed.
Lots of extracurricular activities and networks, (Muslim/BAME/Christian networks etc), to regular work socials, sporting activities, as well as opportunities for professional networking events.

Do your research on the company and its services, its customers etc. Also make sure you do your research around the job in general, make sure the company and role is suitable for you!
