  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

    • My day to day includes submitting invoices onto our subcontract management. I am in charge of the sign in sheet for employees and visitors, I also chase our guys for their HAVi sheets, for me to upload onto our database. I also keep charge of the first aid boxes, burns box and eye wash stations.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

    • Yes, i have learnt how to properly use an excel spreadsheet with formulas, I have created my own, that is used for our HAVi information. My speaking and listening skills have come on leaps and bounds.

    • I enjoy it. There is something different everyday. No two days are the same. I am hoping to go on to Permitting,

    • From Tarmac, it's perfect they have done all they can. It's the college that is bad, no communication, poor management

    • I receive a lot of support from my employer

    • Not a lot from Sheffield College

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

    • It has shown me that even just sending an email you always have to think, does it breach GDPR? etc. Something i wouldn't usually think of

    • Yes there is, we have an EDP Programme, and we also have a football team which we play against others
