  • Yes I’ve mainly learned practical skills that I otherwise wouldn’t have learned.

  • I mainly enjoy the practical aspect of the apprenticeship programme.

  • Overall it’s ok, but i think there could be more organisation when it comes to laying out a clear path of what needs to be done and a clear timeline indicating when it needs to be done.

  • Yes we’ve received support every 12 weeks from our skills coach.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • We receive support from our tutors in the work shop and in the classroom regularly.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I’m only in my first year so I haven’t gone in the business yet. Because of this, I’m not sure yet.

  • Not that i know of, but there could well be.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • The job security is brilliant and the share scheme opportunity is great. Also, i believe National security is a very important industry.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
  • Keep you CV relevant and think about what you can offer the company.
